I have been a Teaching Assistant for a Biology Laboratory course at maryland/columbia">columbia">maryland/columbia">columbia-university">maryland/columbia">columbia">maryland/columbia">Columbia University for the past four semesters, and I think that this teaching opportunity has taught me a lot about how to approach students. I have learned to be patient and approach each student on an individual basis. When a student does not understand something, it is important to try to approach the problem in different ways, since everyone has their own learning stile.
I try to guide people with questions, answer any questions they may have, and teach students how to apply their knowledge to new problems.
