About Me

My name is FA KUI LI, a Mechanical Engineering student from City College of New York. I will keep continue my master in the future. I want to be Engineer working in the field related to structural design.

I have been a math tutor for three years in Queensborough Community College-CUNY. I tutor college students each semester in subjects of Algebra, Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equation to help them solve problems and understand concepts. I am happy to see students gain the knowledge after my tutoring. Tutoring for frog will give me more opportunity to make more friends and help more people.

Here is my tutoring approaching. Firstly, I want student to tell me what they don’t understand and how much information the student can get from the question. Secondly, I will lead student to the right method to analyze the problem to let student have a deeper understanding. Now let student have another try, do the question as much as possible. Lastly, I will go over the question with student to see what the student misses and find out the right answer. Therefore, the basic rule of my tutoring is that thinking actively. Hope you can enjoy working with me!
