Fun Facts

I love to go the beach and look for rocks and beach glass! I have been collecting rocks and fossils for about 5 years and I love the time I get to spend outdoors doing it!

About Me

I am a junior at Grand Valley State University, double majoring in Mathematics and Education, with a minor in history! When I graduate I hope to find a teaching job that I love and to continue my education towards a Masters Degree.

Experience

I have been able to work in multiple classrooms, ranging from middle school mathematics through AP Statistics as part of my teaching education! I also have regularly tutored at a local high school to help students prepare for the IB exam. I love taking any opportunity that I can in order to work with students!

Approach

My approach to help students fully understand the concepts that they are learning, rather than just getting the right answer. It is also important to me that I encourage students to do their best work and guide them through what they need extra support on, rather than giving them the answers.
