Fun Facts

I absolutely love to be creative and express myself! I've dabbled in everything from oil painting to film photography to musical theatre! One of my favorite ways to get away from my academics and busy life is to take a camera or a canvas somewhere and try to capture something in the art, my favorites are the Bob Ross style majestic landscapes.

About Me

I am a recent graduate of Michigan State University, with a Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Laboratory Diagnostics. My ultimate goal is to get into medical school after becoming a certified Medical Laboratory Scientist and working and gaining experience in medical labs.

Experience

I tutored throughout high school as part of the National Honors Society for elementary, middle, and high school students. My family has run a preschool/daycare for most of my life so I have a lot of experience with preschool/elementary age children. I also teach swim lessons every summer to tots and beginners so trust me when I say I can handle a bit of chaos.

Approach

I was an above average student for all of my time from elementary through high school, but I always felt like I had to work so much harder than everyone else. During college it became more clear that I had a problem and didn't know how to articulate that to anyone. Later to find out what I was going through was undiagnosed ADHD. As an adult who now has the tools and words to understand all types of learning, I would love to help anyone who feels like they're struggling to be their best learner.
