About Me
I go to wayne-state-university">Wayne State University, and I am currently in my Sophomore year there. I plan on getting a Bachelor's degree in Psychology there, and then go on to get my Master's in Psychology in graduate school. I would like to work with children when I'm older, and participate in developmental psychology studies for children.
I have never tutored someone before, but I have always been the person that my friend's ask for help when it comes to homework. I would love to experience helping someone learn a subject and watch them progress.
When I was in school, I was always the shy student who never asked questions, and I waited for someone to ask it for me. To me this did not help, so as I got older I learned that I have to ask questions in order to really learn a subject. It shows you what is right and wrong, and how to grow and learn from it. I believe asking questions and going through the material multiple times in different approaches will help to retain the material better. I am also a firm believer in studying, so I would teach the student how to study the material to help get the best results.
