I absolutely love playing the tenor drums for indoor percussion, whenever I'm not studying I usually end up practicing on my drum pad.

About Me

I am on my third year at Arizona State University studying biomedical sciences and neuroscience, I will be starting my master's in cellular and molecular biology in my forth year. My final goal is to go to medical school to eventually become a neurosurgeon.

Experience

Over the summer and when I occasionally go back to my old high school I teach the percussion section. Even when I don't actively go out to tutor, I often end up being the person that other students in my class come to for help.

Approach

A lot of teachers will have one specific way that they teach and while it may work for the majority of students, their approach doesn't always come across. That's why I try to explain everything starting at the simplest level and then build up from that foundation while staying receptive to how well the student is doing.
