I'm the 10th born in a family of 14 kids! I already have 16 nieces and nephews, many more to come!

About Me

Hey! On April 28th, 1989 I was born on the Island of Oahu. I moved to the Big Island when I was 4 and grew up there. Being raised in Hawaii taught me a lot about family within the community. Basically everyone knows each other and the support and love towards each other is amazing. After high school I accepted an academic scholarship to the University of Hawaii. I actually felt like I was limiting my life experience by staying in Hawaii so I decided to move to San Diego after my brother, who was a grad student at Usd, influenced me to take the trip of my life.

I come from a very athletic family and I actually just got done with my second season of football at San Diego Mesa College. I'm planning on enrolling and playing football for Azusa Pacific University this fall. I've tried many sports and enjoy nearly all of them (other than tennis). I love being active and enjoying what life has to offer. Since my junior year of high school I've been tutoring students of all ages and I'm happy to continue that with Frog Tutoring!

My first tutoring job was as a volunteer at the local Boys and Girls club. I did that for 2 years before graduating high school. Following my freshman year of college I obtained my second tutoring job at a private elementary school back in Hawaii. Finally my most recent tutoring experience came summer '11 where I was a resident adviser/tutor/mentor for the Trio Upward Bound program at the University of San Diego. That was a great experience because I lived with the students and got to teach them about productive steps to prepare them for college.

I truly believe that EVERY student has amazing potential. Once I get to know the student (interests, hobbies) I always try to relate the work to what the student does know. I've learned that when students make the work interesting for themselves they're bound to flourish. I pride myself in being able to adapt to each student in order to make the training process mu
