I love to bake. Anytime I am in the mood for something sweet or just looking to relieve stress, you can find me in the kitchen. I love to dress my dogs in cute outfits and take a bunch of pictures of them.

About Me

I am a Pre-Med student in her gap year with a BA in Biology. I was on the Dean's List 2 years in a row. During my gap year, I plan on gaining clinical experience and saving money to go to Medical School.

Experience

In college, I took notes with a notetaking program for other students in my classes. During my sophomore year, I tutored my peers in Biology and Anatomy. I was a camp counselor at a girl scout camp working in the science building. I am currently a Girl Scout leader for my previous troop. As a leader I consistently work on badges that have to do with the STEM field. I am also a babysitter for a 6-year-old. One of my responsibilities is to help the child with their homework after school.

Approach

In High school, I struggled with my freshman year science class. I was tutored by a senior who was inattentive and unhelpful. I ended up learning very little from her, barely passing the course. As a tutor, my approach is to pay attention to the concerns of the student and encourage them. My job is to teach the students the study skills that will help them be successful. I am here to clear up confusion and teach the content they are having trouble with.
