Fun Facts
The demonstration to my students that mathematics is like riddles, is one of the first rules of virtual and face-to-face coexistence, creating an environment in which the subject is seen as a game and not as a headache, facilitating the necessary tools so that they can empower themselves with the procedures and concepts necessary for the adequate resolution of everyday problems and their environment that involve the use of arithmetic and mathematics.
About Me
I am a Professor who graduated in education with a specialization in Mathematics, at the Dominican O&M University, I am currently a student of Social Psychology at the Ana G. Mendez University in San Juan, PR, I am of Latin origin, but I currently live in New Jersey, United States.
Experience
I have been a classroom teacher since 2002 and graduated with a Bachelor of Education with a mention in Mathematics. During my years in the classroom, I coordinated classroom activities and projects with the management teams of various educational centers where I worked, both in the public and private sectors, always seeking that each activity maintains playful aspects for greater mastery and empowerment of processes. and concepts by students.
Approach
As an approach, I start from the premise that although numbers are a universal language, children must learn the basics in their native language. My teaching methods and strategies involve, in the activities and talks, playful formats (games) so that the student can feel free to express himself in his way and indicate what he wants to learn, without putting aside what he should learn, through critical analysis of learning situations.
