About Me

Greetings! I graduated Magna Cum Laude and All-College Honors in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing. During this time, I worked on perfecting my own writing craft and was afforded the opportunity to work with top-tier, award-winning professors and published book authors. My love for English and writing led me to share these passions with others, and my career in education was born. It was during these years I achieved my Master of Education degree in Language and Literacy through the University of South Carolina.
I absolutely love English and writing and see every day as a success when I can use my honed skills to increase someone's academic and professional success.

Experience

I am a successful teacher with 16+ years in the education industry. I have consistently scored perfect five-star reviews on EVAAS Instructional Ratings and led students to receive the highest EOC Writing scores in the district. In the classroom, I taught at both the middle and high school levels, and the variety of classes encompassed grade level, honors, double-advanced, as well as education/north-carolina/matthews">Special Education and ESOL inclusion.
