Educator with 3+ years of experience in educating students, developing, and leading professional development seminars, leading the hospitality committee, coordinating, and managing projects for students and staff. A proven track record of using my excellent personal, communication and organization skills to lead and improve professional learning committees and team morale. Team player with excellent communication skills, high quality of work, driven and highly self-motivated. Strong negotiating skills and able to work independently.

Experience

As a certified educator I have had the opportunity to work with students of all age groups and learning levels. Additionally, I have had several tutoring opportunities. My areas of expertise include math and ela/writing.

Approach

As a child, I struggled with math until high school, and found it difficult and boring. I had a passion for reading and writing. In high school, I was blessed with a teacher who could help me grow and find a deeper love and passion. I have found ways that learning can be fun and engaging through positive reinforcement
