Fun Facts

I love reading books, usually just for fun though. I started working out a bit recently and I want to become a little bit more serious in that field. I used to play a lot of video games, I still do sometimes but not as much because of school. Sports-wise I really only like football and tennis, either playing it or watching it. I was on my high school's robotics team for three years.

About Me

I am a wayne-state-university">Wayne State University senior, majoring in Biochemistry. My future goal is to become a doctor but that is on hold for a while because I want to work for a year or two before I apply. I have a 3.57 overall GPA, hoping to increase that a little more this last year; my major GPA is around a 3.67. I was given the Deans List last year and on top of that I have a presidential scholarship to attend Wayne State's Honor College.

I have previously tutored middle school kids back in high school for a club organization. Other informal experiences include teaching kids in my classes here at Wayne State, for example I tutored a lot of my friends in my Organic Chemistry 2 class throughout the semester. This extended to other classes as well, mainly chemistry.

The best way for people to learn anything is to go over it again and again, or in other words practice. My approach to detroit">tutoring would be to help people walk through particular problems or concepts over and over again so they get as much exposure as possible. In addition to this, I like to ask questions in between each step as to why they did a particular step so that they understand why they are doing each step.
