Fun Facts

What a lot of people find out about me is I love to write! Anytime you can find me with a journal writing another story. I do have a couple books that are published and working on another one with a group of friends.

About Me

I am studying for my fifth year at Metropolitan State University, my major is History. When I graduate I plan to teach history in high school. Last year I was named on the Provost Honor Roll list. My goal in the furniture is to be an author and a teacher. I am half way there!

Experience

From my senior year and onward I participated in small tutoring programs at the Golden Library. Tutoring kids but mostly homework coaches for three years. I stopped tutoring for a time and became a nanny to younger kids. This will be my second year going back to tutoring kids from elementary and middle school, once a week. I always loved helping kids learn while having fun, being able to give help I didn't get until I was in high school.

Approach

Growing up I was always behind in school and struggled to learn. In high school I was capable of expanding and getting out of the program I was in by the support and help through the teachers and tutors. As a tutor I always try to bring the support and guidance that I got from my teachers. Impacting their way of finding answers and study skills to help them be the best they can be.
