I am extremely passionate about helping others in every way that I can. I love all animals (rescues are my favorite, I have 3 at home).

About Me

I am a fresh MSU graduate with a BS degree in Zoology with a concentration in Animal Behavior and Neurobiology. I am 25 years old, and my favorite pass time is helping those in need. I am very creative and love to be outdoors. I have been a tutor through OCC for going on 4 years now and it has been the most rewarding and fulfilling job I have ever had.

Experience

I worked as an SI for OCC during my first year of working at OCC. I now work solely through the ACCESS department of OCC part-time as a tutor, notetaker, and exam proctor. I am going on my fourth year of working with OCC. I have also been a coach at Stars & Stripes (before new management) where not only did I instruct gymnasts and ninja warrior classes, but I worked in the after-school program several days a week where I encountered kids ages 4-12. I have also been a babysitter for ages 3 mo

Approach

I know what it is like to struggle with several subjects in school throughout the years, and not receive help due to others not wanting to provide it. With those experiences, I want to be a difference within the education community. I want to make sure that if there is anything that I can do to help someone, I will do it.
