Fun Facts

My number one passion is traveling! I love discovering new countries, cultures, and lifestyles. My favorite city is Paris, and my most recent trip was Copenhagen, which I found to be mesmerizing. Some of the countries I still want to visit are Japan, South Africa, Russia, and Brazil.

About Me

I started my education at UC San Diego as a mathematics and economics major with a minor in accounting, and I am ready to face the obstacles and embark on a journey toward success.

I’m a number-driven and eager student who is passionate about learning, teaching, and developing. My love for knowledge has made me a successful and helpful tutor since high school. In fact, I have great experience tutoring in all disciplines of mathematics, microeconomics, and macroeconomics, and I also tutor for French and Accounting.

The reason I love tutoring is that I am able to help students with subjects I am passionate about by showing them different perspectives and angles toward a certain problem so they can fully understand it before applying the solution to it.

During my free time, I like to read novels, historical fiction, as well as psychological books. Moreover, I love Latin dancing, which I have been practicing for 3 years, swimming, and I enjoy playing tennis with friends.

Experience

My tutoring experience started in middle school when my friends asked for my help whenever we had an exam. I tutored my friends voluntarily all throughout middle and high school in mathematics, physics, and economics.

After starting my college education, I applied to a tutoring position at UC San Diego, where I tutored microeconomics, macroeconomics, pre-calculus, all levels of calculus, linear algebra, mathematical reasoning classes, and introduction to analysis.

Approach

Through persistence and positive enforcement, I believe that every student is able to succeed and thrive in any subject, no matter how difficult and challenging it may seem.
