My favorite hobbies include painting and sketching portraits. I also love traveling and have been to more than 15 countries! Cannot wait to add more to the list. I have also been to various wonders of the world including The Pyramids, the Statue of Liberty, and the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

About Me

I am a junior majoring in Biomedical Sciences at the University of South Florida. I am in the Honors College. I was born in India but moved out when I was 4. I hope to become an orthopedic surgeon and plan to go to medical school after I graduate.

Experience

I have a good amount of tutoring experience. I was a learning assistant for Bio 1 in my second semester at USF, where I was in charge of a group of 10-15 students. I was also a chemistry tutor at Hudson High school for one semester. I was a Biology and chemistry tutor for the USF Chemistry Society last year. Last semester, I was selected to be the peer leader for Organic chemistry 2. I have also been tutoring in English to a girl from Ukraine in for about 2 years now through ENGin. Through this

Approach

I was a learning assistant for Bio 2 recently and had to be enrolled in a pedagogy course to learn about student behavior, ways to explain concepts, and ways to handle different situations. As a part of it, I was taught that it is best if the information is not simply fed to the students instead tutors are there for supporting them and leading them to the right way so that "they" can find the answer.
