Fun Facts
My hobby as a psychology reader and movie enthusiast combines my love for understanding the human mind with captivating storytelling. I enjoy exploring human behavior and emotions both academically and cinematically—and I’m always ready to discuss a good film that reflects real-life challenges!
About Me
I’ve recently moved to Virginia from Florida and bring a high level of native Spanish and English comprehension. Graduated from University of Florida with a Bachelors of Educational Sciences, and I’m passionate about supporting students academically, emotionally, and linguistically. Both native Spanish and English.
Experience
I bring over 5 years of experience teaching Spanish linguistics to students from Pre-K through 8th grade. I’ve had the privilege of working in private schools and nonprofit educational settings, where I taught over 300 students weekly across various grade levels. Currently, I serve as a bilingual tutor with Axiom Educators at Margaret Brent Middle School, supporting ESL students in Reading, Writing, and Spanish. This experience has deepened my ability to scaffold language instruction.
Approach
As a child who learned languages from scratch in a school setting, I understand first person the difficulty of learning a language. As a tutor, I adapt my professional experiences with my personal experiences to tailor and help children and young adults with their linguistic studies.
