Experience

Experienced English educator with 12 years teaching Honors English in Las Vegas, NV. After relocating to North Carolina, I taught English as a Second Language to 4th-8th grade students, supported Gifted-learners, and served as a Reading Inteventionist focused on comprehension strategies. Additionally, I have experience teaching conversational English virtually to students in China.

Approach

My tutoring is personalized, encouraging,student-centered. I create a safe, engaging space where learners-especially those with ADHD- can focus, feel seen, and thrive. I use structure, creativity, and humor to make reading and writing click. My goal is to build confidence, one step at a time, and remind students that they are not behind, they're becoming.
