About Me
I’m currently in my final year at California State University, Los Angeles, where I’m pursuing a bachelor's in psychology with a minor in Communication Disorders, set to graduate in the summer of 2026. My own experiences in school, particularly with the challenges of math and reading, have shaped my passion for helping others overcome academic obstacles. Over the past three years, I’ve had the privilege of working with Teach for America and the Sunshine Method, where I’ve taught math and English to students from underserved communities. I focus on providing personalized, empathetic instruction to help students build both academic skills and confidence. Outside of the classroom, I volunteer by offering free tutoring to students facing economic hardship, aiming to provide equitable opportunities for success. With a deep commitment to both psychology and communication, I hope to continue making a positive impact on children’s lives, particularly those who face learning challenges.
