Fun Facts

I do bat conservation efforts in Los Angeles County, along with other environmental research projects. I enjoy working not only with bats but a wide variety of public outreach projects. I've presented from my college to San Marcos College, about criminology, biology, and sociology. I also love working in clubs. I am also a 3D effects artist and attend my local film club in CPP

About Me

I am a sociology sophomore at Cal Poly Pomona, I'm currently in the process of transferring to Fresno State. I've received the presidential list, dean's list three times, and the presidential scholarship award. I'm also the founder of Bat Advocacy and Tracking Society, B.A.T.S. I'm planning to apply for med school after my sociology degree and become a psychiatrist

Experience

I've tutored previously with college English students in Written Reasoning 2105, I helped with essays, concept comprehension, and proofreading. Another experience I've had was more informal with tutoring my two brothers, one with a learning disability, on subjects such as mathematics and English.

Approach

My approach is to break everything down into simpler concepts to understand. As a kid, I often had difficulties understanding bigger things and new concepts, so I broke them down into easier bits. As a tutor, I emphazie understanding each part and an overall understanding of a subject.
