I love to play music and have been playing since I was 13! I can play the ukulele and trombone mostly!

About Me

I received my associate's degree in Early Childhood Education in 2022 from Ivy Tech Community College wayne">Fort Wayne and was placed on the dean's honor list the whole time. I am a nanny with teaching experience, starting to transition back to the education field. I love teaching, but also enjoy writing (I have a published poetry book), hiking and travelling, and spending time with animals (I have three cats!) I am also finishing training for an international board-certified lactation consultant.

Experience

I have worked as a nanny and teacher for the past 7 years in various educational centers and environments, including preschool, grade school, elementary school, and middle/high school classrooms. I have also worked in private homes. My teaching skills cover the subjects English, math (up to high school), history/social studies, health, sciences (up to high school), Spanish, writing and reading comprehension, and expertise in early childhood development and education.

Approach

One of the most important things I have learned in my career is the understanding that every child is different, and academic and physical development progress at various levels. That's why I value patience, commitment, and open-mindedness in my teaching. This way I can strategise the most effective way your child learns and teach them following matching techniques and methods. I am passionate about education and forming supportive relationships with students and their families.
