A fun fact about me is that I can do 50 pushups in a row! When I have time, I love working out, reviewing stores and restaurants, and playing tennis.
About Me
I am a rising junior attending Johns Hopkins University double majoring in science/maryland/bethesda">Computer Science and Applied Mathematics. I am part of the Baseball Scheduling Optimization research group that makes schedules for teams and umpires for both the MLB and MiLB!
Experience
In highschool, I tutored and taught peers both competition math and other more advanced topics like calculus. I participated in PILOT (Peer-Led Team Learning), where I saw firsthand how effective peer tutoring works.
Approach
I've always had a large support system in both high school and college where my friends and I would always help each other learn material. I think that learning is most effective when it's collaborative — when people feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and thinking out loud. That’s the approach I bring to teaching: creating a supportive, low-pressure environment where understanding builds naturally through conversation, examples, and shared problem-solving.
