When I am not tutoring, I am either creating music or planning my next vacation. I appreciate music of all genres and forms, and I love to travel because I get to learn more about the world and myself as well.

About Me

I was born in the City Beautiful, also known as Orlando, Florida. I attended the central-florida">University of Central Florida for my undergraduate degree. It is at this time that I began to tutor my first students, which has now been more than a decade ago.

Experience

With over a decade of tutoring experience, I am well-versed in ELA, algebra, biology, and other areas of study. I am passionate about tutoring because I did not have the tutoring I needed as a child. So, because I recognize the importance of having academic supplements outside the classroom setting, I help students now because I want them to build the confidence they need to excel in school and ultimately achieve all of their academic goals.

Approach

Drawing from my extensive experience as a private tutor since 2010 and my tutoring role at Learner, I tailor lessons to each student’s needs using a Socratic method—asking guiding questions to help students arrive at their conclusions. This approach not only builds confidence but also equips them with critical thinking strategies essential for standardized test success.
