About Me

Hi! I’m a 31-year-old Caribbean-born educator with a deep passion for learning and helping kids grow. I’ve been tutoring for over 5 years and have had the pleasure of working with students both in-person and online. I graduated from the maryland">University of Maryland with a 3.5 GPA and studied Family Science.

My journey in education started as a substitute teacher, where I quickly realized how much I loved being in the classroom. I plan to become a teacher!

Approach

I believe that learning should be fun, engaging, and full of curiosity—especially for young learners. That’s why I use a **play-to-learn approach** in my tutoring sessions. Kids naturally explore the world through play, so I use games, stories, songs, and creative activities to help them grasp academic concepts in a way that feels exciting and natural.
