About Me

I'm currently a sophomore at UMBC, where I’ve been pursuing the pre-pharmacy track. I’ve completed all of my prerequisites and am excited to be starting pharmacy school this upcoming fall. My academic journey has deepened my passion for healthcare and helping others, and I’m looking forward to the next step in becoming a pharmacist.

Experience

I began tutoring in middle and high school, where I spent my free time helping classmates with math. Those early experiences sparked my interest in education and supporting others academically. Currently, I work as a pharmacy technician, which has given me valuable hands-on experience in the healthcare field and strengthened my communication and problem-solving skills. I enjoy combining my academic background with real-world experience to help students feel more confident in their learning.

Approach

Growing up, I often had to figure things out on my own because I didn’t always have someone at home to help me with my schoolwork. I know what it feels like to be stuck on something and have to wait until the next day to ask for help. That experience taught me to be resourceful and patient, and it’s shaped the way I tutor. I strive to be the kind of support I wish I had back then: someone who explains things clearly, encourages questions, and creates a safe space for learning at your own pace.
