I am a mother of three and a huge music lover. My family travels all over the United States to outdoor music festivals!

About Me

I am a social worker who works for the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services. I have a bachelor’s degree in social sciences and child development. I was previously a teacher for 20 years, starting in preschool, and have taught elementary, junior high, high school, and as an adjunct professor at several universities in Ohio. I have three amazing children and two dogs.

Experience

As an educator for over 20 years, I have a vast amount of experience teaching large classrooms and very small classrooms, including in-person and online one-on-one tutoring.

Approach

I have a lot of academic and personal knowledge and experience with child development and how the brain works. I know that everyone has their unique learning style, and I base my lessons and tutoring on each individual’s needs and interests. I also believe that creating a great teacher-student relationship is the key to success and makes learning much more interesting and fun!
