I’m passionate about financial literacy. I have spent time volunteering at JA Finance Park, where I had the chance to help middle schoolers in Prince George’s County learn how to manage a budget and learn the importance of life circumstances and expenses. Besides that, I love playing video games, watching anime and playing basketball!

About Me

I hold an Associate Degree in General Studies and am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy at the maryland">University of Maryland, College Park. My goal is to work in the public and nonprofit sectors, with a focus on advancing equitable economic empowerment.

Experience

While I don’t have formal tutoring experience, I have supported children ages 8 to 13 as a summer camp counselor by serving meals, creating a safe and welcoming environment, and designing weekly engagement activities. Additionally, I volunteered at JA Finance Park, where I taught 7th graders how to budget and manage real-life expenses such as utilities, groceries, health insurance, and more, helping them navigate various financial situations.

Approach

I want to be a reminder to every child that they are capable of overcoming the challenges in front of them. Growing up, I often felt small when I struggled, especially compared to others. But over time, I’ve learned that it’s okay to ask for help and that having someone in your corner can make all the difference. I lead with patience and offer unwavering support.
