Language gives us the tools to communicate and grow our ideas. I love learning languages, and currently study Mandarin, Arabic, and Tibetan. I also learn Spanish and write English poetry.

About Me

I graduated from Swarthmore College in 2022 with majors in Spanish and Peace and Conflict Studies and a GPA of 3.7. I became an English Teacher in order to help students gain wisdom and be successful. I love learning and reading, and I ensure my classes offer an engaging experience in which students are able to trust and grow. My specialities are teaching creative writing, literacy, and pronunciation.

Experience

I have had the opportunity to teach students from vastly different backgrounds, age ranges, and experience levels. I have taught in-person and online, both group and individual classes. Currently, my students come from diverse countries, including Ethiopia, China, Taiwan, Syria, the United States, Vietnam, Indonesia, Mexico, Colombia, Bolivia, Chile, and more!

Approach

As a child, I read many books and grew to love reading and writing with a passion that has remained stable to this day. In my classes, I share this with students in the hopes that they gain the tools they need to be successful, happy, and engaged participants in the world.
