Fun Facts

I used to play the clarinet in elementary school through high school, and played the piano. I've been to most of the states on the East Coast but haven't gone to a lot of the states on the West Coast except for California. I also enjoy singing, playing the guitar, and playing games.

About Me

I am currently a junior at Purdue University majoring in Web Programming and Design, minoring in Computer Information Technology and Global Technology. I am aiming to get a solid internship so that I may be able to complete my career goals. I plan to go to graduate school as well once I graduate from Purdue, so that I can pursue a career and get my masters in UX Design.

Experience

As a member of Young Musicians Inspiring Change, I had the opportunity to teach children how to play the clarinet and assist them with the instrument, as well as teach them music theory. As I entered college, I had thoughts about becoming a tutor to teach younger children so that they may have a fun and easier time learning at school. As a student who has gone through lots of tutoring, I aspire to be like my many tutors and be a great fun tutor who helps other students grow their desire to learn.

Approach

When I was younger, I disliked the fact of having to complete homework and study more because I was lazy and wanted to play outside with my friends. As I went up grades, I realized the satisfaction of being able to attain knowledge of such skills as math, reading, science, and technology. The hardships I went through allowed me to attain patience and motivation, and I aspire to help other students/children get through this and find joy in learning like me.
