About Me
I am in my 23rd year of teaching, and I have had the opportunity to speak at the World Literacy Summit.
Throughout the past several years, 100% of my students have met their goals in reading! I am now working on my Doctorate in Education to improve the education of more students. I enjoy my job and have won numerous awards.
These include:
1. National English Teacher Award for Integrating Technology in English
2. Grant Winner- Multiple Grants to buy a book-

4. Contributor to Education Talk Radio
Experience
I have taught in both inner-city and suburban districts, and I ensure that all students are successful.
My students have won a multitude of awards!
All of my students meet their goals, as I differentiate based on individual needs.
Approach
Multi-sensory, kinesthetic literacy instruction is at the core of my teaching. This is coupled with knowing how my students learn and their strengths and weaknesses. Differentiation is key, and my dissertation is about how I integrate this into learning so that all students meet their goals.
