About Me

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature with a Creative Writing emphasis. I am a lifelong reader and creator. My poems, short fiction, and art have and continue to be published in anthologies. I received a 5 on my AP 2-D Art and Design portfolio, gold and silver keys in the Scholastic Art Awards, and full scores in both the SAT and reading/pennsylvania/philadelphia">ACT reading/writing sections.

Experience

Over the past four years, I have worked with high school students to craft and refine compelling narratives in the form of personal essays as well as fictional stories.

I taught fourth-grade English in a private school during the 2024-2025 academic year.

Approach

My teaching approach integrates classical literature and modern fiction, utilizing interdisciplinary texts and opportunities for creative expression to enhance students’ interest in reading and increase higher-level language acquisition.
