About Me

I am a K-2 education/pennsylvania/philadelphia">Special Education Teacher with experience in severe behavioral challenges and developmental disabilities. I have been teaching for 10 years at a school dedicated to children with autism. I am in my 2nd year teaching at a charter school with K-2 students with autism. I am an experienced Registered Behavior Technician working for 10 years in the home, school, and community with children with autism.

Experience

I have had many opportunities for tutoring for my church, online classes and homebound teaching.

Approach

My schooling and hands-on experience maintaining challenging behaviors while teaching life and daily skills to children and adults have played an important role in how I create the learning environment. My Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques bring real results in the classroom with or without the incidence of behaviors.
