I am constantly learning things I do and don’t like, but one thing that has never changed is my love for dogs! I have 3 and they are super friendly, loving and energetic. After a long day with different activities, I love coming home to them:)

About Me

I am a junior attending Florida International University, majoring in Criminal Justice. After completing my Associate in Arts degree during high school, I was able to start my bachelor's early. After graduating, I plan to get my master's in criminology!

Experience

I joined many clubs during high school, so I was able to volunteer for tutoring in different subjects and age groups. I dedicated my summers to volunteering as a helper in Head Start Miami.

Approach

Being the youngest child put a lot of pressure on me to catch up with everyone around me who was older. I always pushed myself to learn and educate myself more. Watching videos and teaching myself was a struggle, as I wished there was someone there to guide me. I want to give reassurance to those I tutor that they have someone to go to, no matter the circumstances. Everyone has their way of understanding things, and that’s what makes learning fun!
