Fun Facts
One fun fact about me is that I have played soccer my entire life! My other interests include hiking, drawing, and music. I also have four brothers and grew up as the only girl (along with six cats, four dogs, and 28 chickens).
About Me
I am a junior Molecular Biology major at Colgate University, where I manage the women's soccer team. I have been on the Dean's list the entirety of my time at Colgate, and on the Dean's list with Distinction from Spring 2024 until present. I am also a member of the Phi Eta Sigma Freshman Honor's Society and have a 3.59 GPA. I plan to continue schooling after my undergrad to pursue a career within the medical field.
Experience
I am currently a Biology tutor at Colgate University, and I am set to begin leading peer-led tutoring Sessions this upcoming fall! I love the ability to work with my peers about subjects I am deeply passionate about.
Approach
I have always enjoyed learning because of the specific feeling when a topic that seems foreign and difficult suddenly clicks. I also have struggled with the frustration of being unable to attain that feeling, and know how it can make learning seem incredibly daunting. I try to make the process seem fun and rewarding rather than difficult, and use my enthusiasm about the topics to do so.
