About Me

Hi! I’m currently a student at Columbia University, double majoring in Economics & Political Science. I scored a 1560 on the SAT (780 Math, 780 Reading & Writing) and have a passion for helping students unlock their academic potential. Whether you’re aiming for a top-tier score or just want to build confidence in core areas, I tailor sessions to your needs, your pace, and your goals.

When I’m not studying or tutoring, I enjoy hiking, reading nonfiction, and discovering new music. I genuinely enjoy making complex concepts simple and engaging, and seeing students succeed is one of the most rewarding parts of my day.

Experience

I’ve helped numerous peers and students improve their SAT scores through personalized 1-on-1 sessions, focusing on test-taking strategies, pacing, and subject-specific reinforcement. At Columbia, I’ve also worked informally with classmates on standardized testing prep and have developed a structured curriculum for tackling the most commonly missed SAT questions.

Beyond test prep, I’ve supported students in strengthening their writing, reading comprehension, and critical thinking skills.

Approach

I believe successful tutoring starts with listening. I take time to understand each student’s strengths, weaknesses, and learning style. My method combines content mastery with strategy: we’ll build foundational skills, then move into real test simulations, timing drills, and score diagnostics. I use a data-driven approach to identify which sections offer the biggest opportunity for score increases.
