Fun Facts

I’ve worked as a tutor assistant and paraprofessional, helping students strengthen their reading, homework habits, and confidence. Outside of learning, I enjoy dancing, swimming, and working out. I’m big on tea (hot or cold) and could sip on it all day. I also love spending time with family, friends, and nature. Lastly, I’m also Lean Six Sigma certified and currently working toward a project management certification because I believe in lifelong learning for myself and my students.

About Me

I’m an experienced paraprofessional and tutor assistant with a background in healthcare, customer service, and education support. I'm working towards my degree in Biology and have worked closely with diverse student populations, supporting IEP goals, reinforcing classroom instruction, and creating organized, positive learning environments. I’m Lean Six Sigma certified and currently pursuing a project management certification to further strengthen my ability to lead, plan, and support student success both academically and behaviorally. My professional path reflects a commitment to continuous growth, clear communication, and helping others achieve their goals.

Experience

I have practical experience supporting student learning through roles as a Paraprofessional and Tutor Assistant, where I worked closely with students one-on-one and in small groups to reinforce lesson plans, accommodate diverse learning needs, and promote academic progress. I’m skilled at creating positive, focused environments that encourage student growth, while collaborating with instructors to track progress and tailor support.

Approach

My approach to tutoring is all about understanding each student’s unique learning style and challenges, then tailoring sessions to meet them where they are. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into simple, relatable steps and creating a supportive, distraction-free environment that builds confidence and motivation. I believe consistent feedback and clear communication with both students and instructors are key to tracking progress and making adjustments that keep learning very effective.
