I have a positive attitude and can communicate effectively with students of all grade levels. Teaching and tutoring are activities I enjoy, and I am happy to help students reach their goals.

About Me

I am a data scientist who develops software, studies climate, space, and weather data, currently working on funding for a PhD in computational science and informatics, and have experience teaching on the elementary and collegiate levels.

Experience

During the pandemic, I homeschooled my then-kindergarten student and taught her to read up to a 1st grade level. She now excels in reading and reading comprehension well above her grade level.
I have experience teaching data analytics and programming to undergraduates and have made a positive impact on their knowledge in these fields.

Approach

By recognizing the needs of the individual, I can tailor the approach for the student to have the most success. Breaking down math problems and/or working on reading at the pace of the student is the best practice.
