About Me

My name is Mohamed, and I'm passionate about helping students succeed. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's in engineering/oklahoma/oklahoma-city">Computer Engineering and went on to complete a Master's in science/oklahoma/oklahoma-city">Computer Science at the University of Oklahoma with a perfect 4.0 GPA. I will be starting my PhD in science/oklahoma/oklahoma-city">Computer Science at Virginia Tech in Fall 2025. Above all, your understanding is my top priority. I aim to be approachable and reliable, with quick responses and a genuine commitment to your academic growth.

Experience

During my graduate studies, I published a first-author research paper and developed a strong foundation in both theoretical and applied aspects of science/oklahoma/oklahoma-city">computer science. My academic background has given me deep expertise in mathematics, from algebra and geometry to advanced calculus and linear algebra. I have extensive experience in programming with Java, Python, C++, and C.

Additionally, I have practical teaching experience as a tutor for high school students in Machine Learning (ML).

As a tutor, my approach is focused on clarity, patience, and adaptability. I believe that true understanding comes from working through real-world examples, not just memorizing formulas. In our sessions, I will first walk you through the theory behind each concept in a way that’s intuitive and easy to grasp, then reinforce your learning with hands-on practice. I tailor my problem sets to your current level and goals, gradually increasing difficulty so you are prepared for any challenge.
