Outside of engineering and math, I love strength training and analyzing how things work, both physically and mentally. I’m constantly challenging myself to grow in new areas, both in the gym and in the classroom.

I’m a senior majoring in Electrical and engineering/oregon/portland">Computer Engineering at Oregon State University with a strong academic background in mathematics and science/oregon/portland">computer science, along with courses in physics and chemistry. I recently completed upper-division coursework in Linear Algebra and Complex Analysis and have a 3.45 GPA. My focus is on systems-level thinking and problem solving, especially in applied math and electrical engineering..
Experience

Electrical and Computer Engineering
Pre Calculus Tutoring
I completed Pre-Calculus (MTH111 + MTH 112) with an A and have used it extensively in later calculus and engineering courses. My math minor has kept these skills fresh, and I’m confident helping students develop a strong foundation in algebraic manipulation, trigonometry, and functions. I’ve also helped peers connect Pre calc concepts to more advanced applications like physics and circuit analysis.
Calculus I Tutoring
I earned an A in Differential Calculus (MTH 251) and continue to apply core ideas like limits and derivatives in engineering and physics coursework. My tutoring style focuses on intuition and logical problem solving, helping students understand what derivatives mean, not just how to compute them.

These courses involved multivariable calculus, partial derivatives, and surface integrals, all of which I’ve applied in electromagnetics and physics. I’ve completed CS 162 (Intro to CS II) with a B and CS 261 (Data Structures) with a B- and am currently taking systems focused ECE courses involving C and assembly. While I’m not a full-stack programmer, I’m confident teaching foundational logic, problem solving, and programming practices in C and C++. My major also integrates algorithmic thinking throughout.

While I haven’t taken a course labeled "Business Calculus," I’ve completed Calc I–III with A/A– grades and understand optimization, marginal analysis, and exponential modeling. all of which are important in business contexts. As a current ECE student, I’ve completed general engineering design and problem-solving courses (ENGR 100–103, 201–202) with strong grades. My tutoring covers technical reasoning, units, estimation, and foundational systems modeling. I’m happy to help students build core engineering habits early on.

I’ve taken two linear algebra courses: MTH 264 (A) and MTH 341 (C–), The C- being a result of outside circumstances rendering me unable to complete an important assignment. I focus on visualizing concepts like span, rank, and eigenvectors to build understanding.

I scored a 32 composite on the ACT, with subscores of 31 in Math and 33 in Reading.
