Kayaking is one of my favorite pastimes, as is anything crafty. However, sewing apparel is by far my favorite avenue of recreation and creativity.
About Me
I plan to be a lifetime student; my love for gaining knowledge and learning new skills is a driving force in my life. Spanish, ESL, and ASL are my current endeavors. My life experiences have led me to obtain my CDL, a Bachelor's degree in Education, and a manager's position in a multi-family dwelling unit company.
Experience
As a student, teacher, and mother, I have a great deal of experience in tutoring at academic levels ranging from professional to primary. My life experiences have led me to obtaining my CDL, Bachelor's degree in Education, a manager's position in a multi-family dwelling unit company, experience with all grade levels, elementary Praxis endorsements, sensitivity to many (sub)cultures within the Unites States, and a strong experience as a writing tutor of all levels.
Approach
As a tutor, I approach each student's needs individually. I strive to practice positive reinforcement for achievements, great or small. Everyone can learn; it's my job to uncover the path to each student's success.
