About Me
I graduated from UCLA in June 2024, and I attended Johns Hopkins University to study a master of Science in Applied and Computational Math. I love math because I believe that there are a lot of ways to solve problems. It is not the only way to solve, so we can figure out the way if we take time to do deep thinking.
Experience
I tutored precalculus privately for a doctor's son from March to May in 2022.
In August 2024, I will join Ampact Americorp to be a full-time Math tutor for Jefferson Elementary School in Sanger. I tutor from grades 4 to 6. I work with students who are behind their math grade level. My job is to help them get back to their math grade level as soon as possible.
Approach
I was struggling with all subjects in high school, so I graduated high school with a low GPA. I almost lost hope of continuing my education. However, my parents are the reason that prevents me from dropping out of school because they work more than 10 hours a day to make some money to take care of me and my sister. I don't want them to work like that for the rest of their lives. Therefore, I attend Golden West College to rebuild my life.
