Fun Facts

One of my passions is helping children with their education, and having access to help. With this passion, a fun fact about me is that, in high school, I built a school in a rural village in Haiti!

About Me

I graduated from Drexel University with honors, majoring in psychology and pre-med. Now, I am in UPenn's Graduate School of Education and have one more year left before I become a therapist. One of my career goals is to give a psychology TED Talk.

Experience

In high school, I used to work at Kumon. In college, I had a contracted job as an online and in-person tutor for children from Tutordoctor for at least a year. Further, I would volunteer to tutor college students with organic chemistry and mathematics.

Approach

As a child, I would always struggle with how to keep concentration, which study techniques work and don't work for me, and what type of learner I am. I realize that teachers play an important role and should cater to the education of children in an individualized manner, and give positive encouragement to boost motivation and drive.
