Fun Facts

I love doing mission work. Every summer since sixth grade I have gone on a mission trip to serve those in need. These mission trips have ranged from roofing a house in Gulfport, Mississippi to working with children in Athens, Ohio to building a house for patients at the All Saints Aids Camp in Nassau, Bahamas. These mission trips have really impacted the person I am today.

Approach

From the knowledge I have gained through my education classes, I plan to approach raleigh">tutoring in a positive, uplifting way. I believe it is important to build on the student's strengths and allow them to relate the material they are struggling with to things they know well. It is important to show students that they can succeed, some subjects or tasks just may take more time and work than other subjects or tasks.
