Fun Facts

One of my favorite things in the world is running. I have run competitively for over 5 years and I still can't get enough of it. I love doing anything outside, including playing all types of sports, hiking and camping. I also love reading, especially Harry Potter! My all-time favorite movie is Toy Story.

About Me

I am currently attending the University of Utah, and I am a Mathematics major and a Health minor. I plan to graduate in two years and then go on to get my Master's degree. I chose to study math and health because they are two subjects that I enjoy and am passionate about.

I have been a private tutor for a high school student in Pre-Calculus and AP Calculus for the past two school years. I have helped her with homework assignments, understanding concepts, and test review. This experience has helped me realize how much I love being able to help people learn and improve in their math skills.

As a tutor, I want to be able to help students love learning and realize their potential. I find that many people don't like math because it is a difficult subject to understand. However, I believe that math can become an enjoyable area of study even for those who may struggle at it. My goal is to tutor students to not just get by, but to learn to be successful in a difficult subject by understanding fundamental concepts, being motivated and driven, and eventually being able to achieve on their own!
