I have always been the kind of person that loves to be involved! I am a part of many activities here on campus including intramural volleyball and volunteering. I love meeting new people and value a good conversation. I hope that i can travel the world someday and learn about many cultures.

About Me

I am a sophomore at NC State University! I have been on deans list all of first semester and am an active member of the University Scholars Program. I am doing a double major in Communication Media and Spanish Language and Culture.

Experience

As a member of the national honors society i was able to raleigh">tutor students weekly in many subjects. I also was an after school raleigh">tutor for fifth grade students struggling in math, science, and writing/reading. This year I taught Spanish to 8th grade students through the Wolfpack language club. I love helping people to succeed and seeing their progress, and i hope to continue this though college!

Approach

I have always been a step-by-step kind of person. In anything from cooking a meal to my daily routine, having steps and a plan helps me to navigate more efficiently. I find that taking learning step-by-step is helpful to me and also to those whom i raleigh">tutor. The big picture can be confusing, and breaking things down into smaller pieces can be extremely helpful in understanding any basic concept!
