Fun Facts
I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. Many people don't believe me due to the fact that I don't have an accent when I speak English, to which I reply that I grew up watching 80's and 90's shows such as Full House, Boy Meets World, Saved by the Bell and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. I guess I leaned how to mimic the "American accent" pretty well!
About Me
I'm currently an Accounting major with a 3.8 GPA at the University of Utah. I transferred in the Fall 2015 semester from the University of Puerto Rico, where I majored in Physics. After graduation, I hope to earn my Masters in Accounting at the University of Utah and possibly even earn my MBA shortly after becoming employed full-time.
Experience
As a member of the Society for Physics Students, I would volunteer at our office to assist college students with questions in regards to both physics and mathematics. I've always been eager to help others understand concepts they might be struggling with in a way that makes sense to them.
Approach
It's important to remember that every person is different, which adds to the fact that the way they learn differs from that of fellow students. In class, teachers and professors are limited to a specific and generalized method of teaching that is not necessarily optimal for everyone. Individual tutoring aids students learn at their pace and in a manner that is ultimately favorable for them.
