My favorite things to do are reading and watching football, but not simultaneously. My favorite books include the Harry Potter series, The Grapes of Wrath, and Shakespearean works. My favorite football team is the University of Utah Utes!

About Me

I am currently a sophomore at the University of Utah studying Environmental and Sustainable Studies, and Political Science. I also am working towards a minor in Urban Planning. I plan on taking the LSAT in June 2014 with the hopes of becoming an Environmental Law lawyer focused on international water rights.

As a Big Sister through the Big Brother Big Sister program I was able to hone my skills working with elementary and middle school students. All throughout my educational career I have been asked to edit and review essays, lead study sessions, and have acted as a resource for my peers. This lifelong role has also worked to prepare me to help students with their academic goals.

I am passionate about communication, whether written or verbal, and enjoy writing essays and manuscripts during my free time. This enthusiasm permeates my approach to tutoring-it takes clear communication between all parties for success to be gained. I believe in developing a growth mindset, confidence, and critical thinking skills with my students. I truly love learning and work to fortify that attitude in those whom I work with.
