Fun Facts

From a young age my family instilled in me the importance of a healthy lifestyle. Today, this inspires me to encourage every person to be the healthiest, happiest versions of themselves. On any given week you can find me studying, teaching yoga, running, or painting. In my spare time, I volunteer with hospice care patients as well as nashville">tutor my peers each week. Someday soon, I hope to complete a triathlon to raise money for people in need.

About Me

I have a BS with a Biology Pre-Medicine major, chemistry and psychology double minor, from belmont">belmont-university">belmont">Belmont University. I worked hard to attain dean’s list status each semester at belmont">Belmont. I served as Community Service Chair of belmont">Belmont’s Pre-Health Honor Society, a peer mentor for underclassman, and was a member of 3 on campus clubs. I am currently in Medical school. My goal is to become a pediatric emergency room physician.

Experience

In high school, I had the opportunity to lead the enrichment program of a non-profit teaching art and reading. In college, I was able to lead the Dance for Fitness program at a non-profit teaching kids dance and helping with homework. I have taught yoga for 4 years. I was also the teaching assistant for a chemistry lab and tutored non-science majors while in undergraduate. Currently, I enjoy nashville">tutoring inner city children each week. Frog nashville">Tutoring allows me to purse my passion for teaching others.

Approach

As a child, I struggled in school. Thankfully, I had amazing nashville">tutors which taught me how to overcome these challenges. I owe much of my academic success to these kind and generous ladies. As a nashville">tutor, I try to incorporate the patience and understanding my early nashville">tutors had. I pride myself on my ability to explore alternative ways of explaining concepts so that every student can reach their full potential. My hope is that every student will leave encouraged and knowledgable.
