Fun Facts
My passion for history grew at early age, I was in 4th grade when I found a love for ancient civilizations. My ambition was to research these people, and learn more about their culture and way of life. I moved to the Middle East at a young age, having the chance to visit Egypt when I was 15 years old. As I grew older I knew that I wanted to be a teacher, but I feared at the possible financial instability such a carrier would offer. As a Freshman, I decided to commit, and I am happier for it.
About Me
Graduating from Knight Dale High School with a 4.5 GPA and with honors, I spent the next few years as a Wake Tech College student; with the intent to transfer my credit hours. I am now a Sophomore, soon to be Junior, at NC State University. I have completed two years in the TRIO program, and an newly appointed member of the History Club.
Experience
As a high school early graduate, I have spent my extra time volunteering at a Sunday school. There I taught, Religious History, language, and morality. I participated as a teacher's assistant, as well as a teacher, in a class consisting of 20 individuals. I tutored family and friends as we grew up, and in many cases having aided colleague in public and private projects. With my commitment to a degree in education, my experiences are slowly, but surely increasing with each passing week.
Approach
In my youth I was quite terrible at mathematics, struggling to understand simple multiplications and division. This, however, changed when my mother took me aside one night, and taught me, in the span of an hour, multiplication and division up to the twelfth numeral. Due to this outcome, I have found that one important method of teaching is to make clear what could be understood, and what must be memorized. My intent, is to form a balance suiting each other, teaching this process to my students.

Humanities and Social Science
History Tutoring
I am majoring in History, as well as aiming to gain a degree in Education. While it not being the topic I taught, I already have a history volunteering as a teacher and teachers assistant with middle and preschool students at a local Sunday school. Since 3rd grade, I have been in the top 5% of my class, until college freshmen year. Having taken a large number of History courses throughout my years in College and University I feel confident in my abilities to teach any for of History class.
Math Tutoring
I have, like many others, taken this and similar courses relating to mathematics throughout my life time. Pre-calculus is the highest level of mathematics I have taken. I have helped tutor my siblings in this course as they grew up.While I am not majoring in the mathematics, I am aiming to gain a degree in Education, already having a history volunteering as a teacher and teachers assistant with middle school and preschool students at a local Sunday school.
Elementary Math Tutoring
I have helped tutor my siblings in this course as they grew up. With Pre-calculus being my highest mathematics class taken, I feel confident in my ability to teach Elementary level Math. While I am not majoring in the mathematics, I am aiming to gain a degree in Education, already having a history volunteering as a teacher and teachers assistant with middle school and preschool students at a local Sunday school.
Social Studies Tutoring
