Fun Facts

I love reading and writing. I am also a multi media artist so painting, drawing and other crafts. I love being at home because decorating and taking care to my environment is something that is important to me so a lot of people take me to be some what of a home body. But that couldn't be further from the truth. I love to travel and experience new things! I’ve been to several different countries including France and Morocco and I will continue to explore all over the world.

About Me

I'm a very ambitious transfer student at Augsburg and Macalester Colleges. I am in the PTK honors society and I truly believe any student can get to where they want to be with the right support system and routine. I am a forensic psychological anthropology major and my goal is to use my knowledge to help people, discover new things in the field and help law enforcement.

Experience

I haven't had official tutoring experience however I have worked with kids of various grade levels for over 10 years through nannying. Of course with nannying I've be required to assist with homework. I'm excited to work with youth again as I feel I can be a proper mentor, and source of relatable motivation.

Approach

Being the child of two foreign parents, growing up I struggled with take home assignments. As much as my mom loves me she couldn't give me the best help with my homework. So I had to seek help elsewhere, and stumbled upon the YMCA. I know how tough it can be to not only get help with your studies but dealing with all the chaos that goes along with that (i.e. finding yourself, etc) From my first hand experiences I know I can be of great help.
